Mission
The mission of the Academy for Advanced Studies (AAS) Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that includes academic, personal/social, and college/career guidance for all students to prepare for college and career success. The program will be developed through ongoing collaboration among educators, business and industry, and community partners, and families. In doing so, the AAS graduates will show an increase in high school graduation and college enrollment rates, higher levels of academic attainment, stronger preparation for high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand careers, and greater potential for local economic development.
Vision
The vision of the Academy for Advanced Studies (AAS) Counseling Department is to produce 21st century leaders who will be competitive in a global economy.
