Hi parents and students,

My name is Kacey Kurey, and I was born and raised in the great state of West Virginia. I currently provide support to both the general education and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students and teachers in the English and History departments at AAS.  For the 2024-25 school year, I will be supporting World Literature, American Literature,  British Literature as well as World History classes.

I earned my master’s degree in special education from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in 1996 and my undergraduate degree is in elementary education from Mount Union College in Alliance, OH in 1992. I am starting my sixth year teaching in Henry County schools, but have 24 years of teaching experience in grades ranging from second to twelfth.

In my personal time, I enjoy swimming, jogging/walking, going to Bible study, doing crafts, and spending time with my family.

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year.
