Mr. Spencer

Welcome to Music Technology and SongWriting! I am excited about learning with you this year. I spent most of my time as a band director for college and 6th-12th grades. This is my 12th year in education, and I am excited about providing you all with real-world experiences and industry-driven learning opportunities during your time here at the Academy for Advanced Studies. I attended Alabama State University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance, and then Full Sail University with a Master’s Degree in Technology. 
 
I’m an innovator of fine arts and education who is passionate about inspiring lives through music. As a Grammy Award-Winning musician, private music instructor, and technology specialist, I have maintained a unique life & career experience that promotes creativity in the visual and performing arts. My ability to keep a good character, enthusiasm, and a lifestyle of perseverance has afforded me the chance to prosper through life doing something I love, traveling the world, and providing opportunities for others!
