Welcome!
I am excited to be your Teaching as a Profession pathway trainer here at the Academy for Advanced Studies. I am even more excited to be teaching Future Georgia Educator's!
I have taught in the Henry County School System for nine years. Before that, I had the pleasure of teaching at Southern Crescent for six and a half years. There, I taught GED classes and advised students on post secondary options. I have also taught in the prison system. So, while we talk about teaching as a profession, I will be able to give my associates so many experiences of my teaching background.
You are all a very special group of associates because you have decided to explore the field of education. I promise as an educator you will get rewarding benefits as well as face some challenges, but you are smart enough to handle everything that comes your way. Teachers are a gift.
