Mark McBride
Graphic Design Instructor
Hello students and parents! My name is Mark McBride, and I am an artist and graphic designer with over 16 years' experience in illustration and design. I am also the owner of my own art brand, Building Character Illustrations. I absolutely love to create and be submerged in the world of art. I began my career as a self-taught artist and transitioned into graphic design as an apprentice at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. I am very proud to say that I grew up as a 80s kid. I love cartoons, graffiti, anime, fashion art and street art! My goal is to help my students realize the important role that graphic design plays in the world. By engaging in the creative process and creating effective art through graphic design, I am hopeful that my students will be successful not only in the classroom but beyond that as well.
