Welcome to Ms. Anderson's Social Studies Class! I am excited about learning with you this year. I spent most of my schooling in Henry County Schools and am happy to be back. This is my 8th year in education and third at the Academy for Advanced Studies. Before beginning my career, I attended Georgia Gwinnett College where I received my Bachelor's Degree in history. Later on, I decided to attend Kennesaw State University for a Master's in Education, concentrating on technology in the classroom.
First and foremost, I love teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I promise to be consistent in my dedication to teaching. I will choose my teaching methods on the basis of how they will aid learning. I promise to never waste your time with activities that have no purpose to your FUTURE. In my class you are PROFESSIONAL IN TRAINING. As such, I promise to provide you with the skills necessary to be a successful professional in this world. I vow to stay positive in the face of negativity. I will treat each student in the class as equals. I promise not to give up on you nor will I quit on you. I promise to give you nothing but excellence and expect nothing less in return.
