I am Gerlanna Dickey, a trainer at the Academy of Advanced Studies (AAS) with 17 years of experience teaching business courses in public schools. I am dedicated to equipping students with hands-on, real-world applications and 21st-century skills, ensuring they are prepared for college and careers.
Before my teaching career, I worked as a real estate agent and title insurance agent. I am pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Design and Technology at Liberty University. I graduated with a Specialist degree in Instructional Technology, Media, and Design from the University of West Georgia, a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director's license, a Master's degree in Career and Technical Education (CTE) from Ball State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Education from Florida A&M University.
I am passionate about teaching business, computers, and technology, and I believe every student has the potential to succeed. I find great fulfillment in shaping young minds and am excited to be part of the AAS family.
