Hello, welcome to the new school year! My name is Ms. Jakacha Nelson. I attended THE Fort Valley State University and achieved my Bachelor of Science in Business Management. 

I am an energetic and enthusiastic teacher who believes education is about YOU and YOUR future.  I strive to create an environment that encourages authentic learning and real-world experiences. I often incorporate hands-on activities in my lessons. I believe in hands-on, project-based learning, and I take the time to ensure my students are engaged and excited about the material. I also recognize the importance of fostering creativity and critical thinking skills in the classroom. I believe in an AUTHENTIC learning experience, and I dedicate my classroom to real-world experiences! Together, we will explore business in real-world aspects and examine the legal concepts of business.  I am passionate about helping students gain the skills they will need to succeed in college and the workplace.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my daughter, Aubree! I believe in leading by example.
