Welcome to the wonderful world of healthcare science! My name is Sharon Murray, and this is my second year of teaching at Woodland High School. I received my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare from Clayton State University and a diploma in Medical Assisting from Ga Medical Institute. Before teaching, I worked as a back office clinical Medical Assistant for seventeen years in the areas of pediatrics, orthopedics and family medicine. I come to you with a wealth of knowledge and passion for healthcare and I can’t wait to share experiences with you.
The healthcare program is designed to spark interest and prepare students for the amazing opportunity to work in the healthcare industry. This pathway is perfect for anyone that has a desire to serve others and the community. Again, welcome and let's have an exciting year!
