Hello Everyone,

My name is Benjamin Rawlins and I will be teaching American Literature, Honors American Literature and AP Language and Composition.  I have been teaching at the high school level for 9 years.  I attended Georgia College and State University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and my Master's Degree in Teaching.  I am currently in the process of acquiring my Specialist degree through Kennesaw State University in Instructional Technology.  

As a teacher, I believe students should be able to resubmit work that has been turned in as many times as is needed to ensure that they recieve the grade which they truly deserve.  Education is about preparing students to think critically, speak powerfully, and sythensize comprehensively.  Apart from my educational philosophy, I enjoy walking and hiking, playing video games, and reading and spending time with family and friends.
