    SHH (Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica-National Spanish Honor Society) membership is by invitation only for students In Spanish level III or higher AT Woodland High School. Applications became available in Google Classroom on the morning of March 1, 2021.

      ¡Feliz 2022!
     
     Our charter chapter formed in May, 2008.
     
    The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is a national honor society to which students enrolled in Spanish levels III, IV, and AP at Woodland High School may apply and then be invited for membership.  Qualifying students in Spanish Level III or higher at WHS may apply for membership. 
     
    ~Submitted a complete application 
    ~Currently enrolled in Spanish III or higher at WHS
    ~Earned at least a 90 cumulative average for Spanish classes taken in high school
    ~Had at least a 3.0 overall weighted GPA
    ~Had no referrals in the last 2 years
    ~Are committed to our ideals, including peer tutoring in Spanish at school and a community service project each semester.
     
      
    Our purpose: Academic, social and cultural activities involving the Spanish language and the Spanish-speaking cultures.
     
    To MAINTAIN membership (claim membership and receive honor cord at graduation for being a member in good standing) complete the following:
     
    1.) Maintain at least a 90 average in your Spanish classes. 
    2.) Maintain at least a 3.0 overall weighted GPA.
     
    3.) Maintain a clean discipline record: no ISS or referrals
    4.) Maintain excellent good character: no violation of county, school, or teacher rules, or other misbehavior
    5.) No academic integrity infractions.
     
    6.) Paid dues.
     
    7.) Volunteered  as a peer tutor at least once every semester.
