• Georgia School Climate Survey Information

In 2024-2025, the Georgia School Climate Surveys (GSCS) for students, teachers, staff, and families will replace the Georgia Student Health Survey (GSHS), the Georgia Parent School Climate Survey (GPSCS), and the Georgia School Personnel Survey (GSPS). This new suite of surveys, aligned with Georgia’s Systems of Continuous Improvement, will

provide more actionable data for district and school leaders, reduce the number of questions for students, and eliminate most other GaDOE survey requirements.

The Georgia School Climate Survey is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument that identifies school safety and climate issues that impact student achievement.

Completed by students during the school day, The Georgia Department of Education survey collects individual responses from elementary students in grades 3-5 and middle/high school students in grades 6 -12.

The administration window for students to take the survey is December 3, 2024 - January 31, 2025. School leaders at each school will notify parents of exact GSCS administration dates.
