    Greetings Wolfpack Family:

I am extremely excited to join the Woodland High School Wolfpack family and serve our community as your new assistant principal. During my 15 years as an educator, I have had the honor and privilege to serve as a Special Education teacher, a Behavior Specialist, a Testing Coordinator, a MTSS Coordinator and the Dean of Students.  I look forward to learning from and growing with the entire Woodland community.

I am a proud native of Middle Georgia. I received my undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University, my Masters degree from the University of West Georgia, and my Educational Specialist degree from Georgia College and State University.  My wife and I have four children and three grandchildren.  We love spending quality time with our family and traveling.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once wrote, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character–that is the goal of true education”. My goal is to work with all stakeholders to ensure that our Woodland High School students strive for excellence and make education a priority!

    Sincerely,

    Charlie Walker
