Ms. Tina Cardinali

Dear Parents and Students,                                                                   August 2, 2023

I am very excited about the upcoming school year. I have heard wonderful things about our upcoming students, and I am looking forward to our time together.

This is my twenty-fourth year as a certified teacher and my twenty-second year in Henry County. Over the years, I have enjoyed teaching the following subjects and grades:

  • Second/third-grade math and reading at Liberty Elementary School in Tennessee, sixth-grade science and reading at Austin Road Middle School, second grade at Flippen Elementary School, seventh and eighth-grade science and social studies at Hampton Middle School, first grade at Troup Elementary School in Connecticut, 8th grade ELA special education at Union Grove Middle School, and 6-8-grade ESOL at Union Grove, Ola, and McDonough Middle Schools.

I received my undergraduate degree and my master’s degree from Austin Peay State University, my specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University, and my administrative certificate from Southern Connecticut State University.

I have three adult children and five beautiful grandsons. I enjoy learning new things, traveling, exercising, doing various crafts, and spending time with my family.

Educational Philosophy

I believe that all children are entitled to receive an education that is goal-oriented, student-driven, differentiated based on student needs, and prepares students to be college and career-ready. In a setting that is safe, warm, respectful, and welcomes student diversity and parent involvement. Instruction should be engaging, motivating, and rigorous, and develop a student’s love of learning.

It is extremely important to your child’s education that we stay in contact with each other throughout the year. You will receive email reminders during the year to keep you up to date with classroom and school events. I will also utilize Google Classroom as a learning platform as well as a communication tool.

Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns you may have. My door is always open!

I look forward to learning and growing with each of you. With your cooperation and support, we will have a FANTASTIC year!

Respectfully,

Ms. Tina Cardinali, Ed.S
