In line with its Core Beliefs and Commitments, the Henry County Board of Education has established a comprehensive Code of Conduct that focuses on creating a supportive, safe, secure, and equitable learning environment while promoting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. Henry County Schools's approach to student conduct reflects our commitment to understand and address the causes of student behavior and teach students appropriate behavior while providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students.The Office of Student Conduct, Prevention, Intervention and Family Support is here to assist schools and families with matters related to student conduct. Henry County Schools has performed a deep analysis of the feedback received from our safety and security community conversations in relation to these three pillars. This information, coupled with feedback received during the fall community conversations as well as student, staff, school council, and family focus groups, has provided us with the themes that continue to guide our planning to ensure student and staff safety.
- The first pillar is Campus Security Investments, which includes the structural changes and infrastructure improvements that leverage security tools on school campuses.

The second pillar is Student and Staff Safety, which includes the preparation, training, teaching, and communication around safe practices.

The third pillar is Conduct and Behavior Expectations, which includes the expectations for acceptable conduct, as defined by the board of Education, in conjunction with articulated consequences and interventions when expectations are not met.
