Ms. Jennifer Smith

I'm excited to begin my third year at Ola Middle School.  I have been in education for 19 years.  Most of my experience is as a high school English teacher and media specialist, and I'm happy to be in the classroom as a middle school teacher again this year!

I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in English from Georgia State University in 1996.  I completed my M.Ed. in Media degree and my Ed.S. degree in Instructional Technology at the University of West Georgia.  I love reading, writing, and all things Language Arts related.

I grew up in the area, and my family has lived in McDonough for the last fourteen years.  I have a daugher who is in 7th grade at OMS this year.  When I'm not at school, I'm often supporting her various activities.  

I'm looking forward to getting to know all my students and making this a great year!
