    Subjects I Teach: Fourth Grade

My name is Ms. Ennis and I am originally from Scotch Plains, NJ. I have been teaching for over 15 years. I received my Bachelors at Clayton State University, my Master of Educaton in Technology from Lesley University  and I have my Gifted Endorsement. I have taught Kindergarten, first, second, third, and fourth grades. I am the proud mother of two wonderful children. My hobbies include spending time with my children and family, traveling, reading, relaxing, cooking, listening to music, attending plays and concerts, working out, and trying new things as long as heights are not involved. I enjoy working with children and making a difference in their lives.

Let me start by saying that I am excited to have this opportunity to teach our children.  I say “our” because it takes both of us to do our part to ensure educational success. I believe students must become active learners.  In my room, the students will construct their knowledge through hands on experiences and collaboration with their peers.  My mission is for students to be able to use their critical thinking skills that will allow them to become lifelong learners in and outside the classroom. You too play a major part in my mission and the school’s vision.
