• The Henry County School System's reputation for excellence continues to attract record numbers of students, with an enrollment over 40,000 students.  This continued growth is a testament to the quality of education offered to students in Henry County and to the school system's solid community support. 

    There are 50 existing schools in Henry County, 1 alternative school, Patrick Henry Middle and High with the South campus located in Ola and the North campus located in Stockbridge, and one evening academy located at the Patrick Henry High North Campus.    
     
    During the Fall 2009 semester, Clayton State and Gordon College began offering college-level courses at the new Academy for Advanced Studies in McDonough at Henry County High School.  In addition, Griffin Technical College began offering courses from selected technical programs at this site.  For more information on the Academy, please visit our website and under School System Updates, click on Academy for Advanced Studies.
     
    All schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Accredited With Quality by the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
