Our "Expeditions" gives students opportunities to have rigorous, relevant, and authentic learning experiences during the Science and Social Studies content areas. There is also natural opportunities for students to cross content and integrate Reading for Information, Research Skills, Writing, and Speaking and Listening Skills. Students may use project based learning activities, inquiry, or service learning projects to foster these authentic learning experiences.
Students also utilize 21st Century Skills (communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity) as they research and engage in learning, thus preparing them for college, career, and life.
Students have opportunities to utilize various technology platforms to access content, but also transform the ways in which they showcase their learning or final work products.
