Welcome to Ms. Griffin's Class

I would like to introduce myself. I am Mrs. Sheila Griffin. I am originally from Chicago, but most of my life I lived in New Orleans, LA for which I call home. My family and I relocated to Georgia as survivors of Hurricane Katrina. My husband and I have 2 sons. Our oldest just graduated from The Fort Valley State University. Our youngest is working in a training program through Henry County Schools. 

I have been a part of Mt. Carmel Elementary for the last 4 years as a Paraprofessional. This is my first year as a teacher. As for my credentials, I have a Bachelor of Arts degreee in Social Work and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. I am entering my 5th year at Mt. Carmel Elementary.

I look forward to working with each and every one of your students. I know this year will be great as we work together!!
