            Dear Parents/ Guardians,

            We are very pleased to have your child enrolled in Mt. Carmel Elementary School this school year.  The faculty and staff at MCE believe that success in school depends upon a collaborative and supportive relationship between the student, parent, school, and our community.  We look forward to working with you and your child as we provide your child with a rigorous and high-quality education.  Although the world has been full of uncertainties for the last few years, the expectations for our students will remain high, while we provide a high-quality education by passionate, caring, dedicated adults who look forward to your continued partnership in ensuring that your child reaches his/ her full potential.

Our students’ academic achievement and social growth are possible due to all of us working together hand in hand.  It is our goal to continue a model of success by working together with our students, families, and community to provide excellence in education, strengthen our core business of student learning, and ensure a high-performing learning environment for all students.  We welcome and need your support!  This year, we will have many opportunities for parents to get involved and support your child and our school.  Our students are counting on us to work together. We believe that we are better together!  

           You can expect e-mails along with a variety of other means of communication such as newsletters, Infinite Campus messages, Remind messages from your child’s teachers, face-to-face meetings, phone calls, conferences, school-wide events, and the use of our school website (https://www.henry.k12.ga.us/site/default.aspx?DomainID=2153) for on-going communication. Please make sure we have a valid e-mail account and phone number in Infinite Campus (IC) so that we may be able to send messages to you using our calling post.
