I  grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, where I developed a love for education and the great outdoors! I enjoy camping, fishing and reading a nice book under the stars. I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan and my graduate degree from Strayer University in Huntsville, Alabama.

I have been teaching Exceptional Education students for the past 4 years and recently decided to teach in Henry County where I also reside. I love teaching middle school because the students are at an age where they are figuring out their place in the world. It is exciting to see their faces light up when they gain an understanding of something!

I am married and I have 8 children. My family is very important to me and you will get to know them throughout the year as well.

I will regularly use technology in the classroom and my hope is that you continue the learning fun at home.
