Ms. Angela Stafford
Hello All! Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. You have clicked on this page to learn more about me, so here it goes. This is my 4th year at ARMS and I am still excited about being a part of the Jaguar Family. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be in a career where I served children. Either I was going to be a pediatric nurse or a teacher. After my first two years of undergrad, I knew education was the field for me. I graduated from Georgia Southern University (The REAL GSU), where I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I completed my master's degree at Grand Canyon University in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been in education for 14 years. I taught for 4 years in Dekalb County before moving south to Henry County. I taught at Fairview Elementary for 6 years then transferred to Wesley Lakes Elementary as the Gifted Collaborative Teacher. I decided to come back to the Stockbridge cluster because that is where my heart lies. I have 4 beautiful daughters; Kayla (17), Kyla (13), Kaylin (11), and Khloe' (4). I am all about teaching the whole child and making sure that each scholar leaves my class with more knowledge, creativity, and confidence. They will learn that they drive their success through their attitude, their work ethic, and their willingness to keep trying even when things become more challenging. With collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication this year will be a great one!
