Ceramics & Sculpture is an advanced course for students interested in the study of three dimensional visual art. During this course, students explore a variety of materials, techniques, and concepts used to create 3D art.  Students are exposed to the history of ceramics & sculpture and engage in critiques throughout the year.

CERAMICS SYLLABUS

REQUIRED MATERIALS LIST:

• Sketchbook (spiral bound, 9x12)
• Pencil
• Colored pencils
• Various clay "tools" such as bamboo skewers, forks, spoons, rolling pins, etc
• Plastic container for water & slip
• Old t-shirt or rag to wrap clay & keep moist
• Extra plastic bags
• Ruler
• Other found materials possible:TBA
