    Welcome!

I hope that you have had a wonderful & outstanding summer.  As we begin our 2023-2024 school year journey, I look forward to seeing your knowledge of self and law content expand! As a platform, Intro to Criminal Justice is a Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education class (CTAE), which deals with all types of info and education in the Public Safety workforce.  Students will explore careers in the area of public safety that include law enforcement, fire and rescue, emergency medical services, security, and corrections. Although the focus of this course teaches the foundations of public safety careers, this class also helps students explore career opportunities and interests as well.  Students will learn about how to apply for a job, interview, and develop employability skills, leadership characteristics, communication skills, appropriate work site behavior, work ethic, and the importance of skills training.

As a teacher, I am responsible for the foundation of teaching law as the 1st year of 3 for the Public Safety Pathway.

Being that this is a first year course for most in Law, this semester will have some challenges, which are mainly performanced based, including hands-on work as well as problem solving and critical thinking abstracts.  Because of the block schedule, we will cover a large amount of info in a short period of time.

Be that as it may, we will accomplish this goal TOGETHER!!  I look forward to all of the BEST from my students and your children.
