Eagle's Landing High Fashion Club Interest Survey

The Fashion Club addresses the desires and creativity of students who are interested in any facet of the fashion industry. Additionally, the Fashion Club sponsors community service projects, social activities, post-secondary academic exploration, and a spring fashion show that includes and showcases the learning, creativity and talents of students from all academic, Fine Arts, and CTAE departments.

These are activities that educate and empower students to make informed decisions about entering and contributing to the fashion industry. Beauty and the beauty industry are used as platforms to exemplify and promote acts that empower self-esteem, leadership, and teamwork. Students are encouraged to develop and showcase their creativity through fashion design, marketing, cosmetology, make-up, video broadcasting, photography, modeling, etc.

The founder of the club, Bobby Ali, was very clear that he wanted this club to encourage beauty and beautiful acts on and off the runway. Finally, the Fashion Club’s mission is to showcase the learning and talent of students who exhibit an interest in any aspect of the beauty industry in the annual spring fashion show, a culminating school-wide project. The fashion club has a national affiliate that provides the structure and resources. The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, located in Los Angeles, CA offers and provides support materials as well as scholarships for members.
