If the student is 15 years of age and under, and need a work permit, he/she must have secured a job first and then go to the Georgia Department of Labor website (dol.georgia.gov)  and fill out Section A of  the youth work permit form, print it out and then take it to their employer and the employer fills out Section B.

The student will then have to bring the completed form along with their certified birth certificate to main office. There is a 24 hr turnaround time for work permits.  Students may obtain their work permits before school, afterschool and during lunch. These items will not be obtained during instructional time.
