      Mock Trial at Eagle's Landing High School
     
     
     
     
    ELHS Program Information
    The mock trial team at Eagle's Landing High School is made up of students in grades 9-12 interested in learning about law and careers in the law.  The ELHS team competes each year in the Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition, which is a project of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.  Student team members play the roles of attorneys and witnesses in a court case.  Local professional attorneys serve as team coaches and during the competition rounds, teams are evaluated on their ability to make a logical, cohesive and persuasive presentation, rather than on the legal merits of the case. 
     
    This year, 2020-21, the competition at the regional and state level will all be VIRTUAL. See the page on this year's competiton for more details about this massive change.
