Getting Ready for PSAT 8/9:
Administration Date for 8th Graders: October 11, 2023
What is it and why take it? The PSAT 8/9 will give you feedback on your knowledge on the areas that matter most for college and career readiness. It will help you prepare and familiarize yourself with questions that will be on the SAT which is an assessment (test) colleges and universities use when they make decisions on which students they will accept.The breakdown of the PSAT is as follows:Section 1: Reading-55 minutes
Section 2: Writing & Language-30 minutes
Section 3: Math (no calculator)-20 minutes
Section 4: Math (calculator)-40 minutes
