Re:       Required immunizations for all rising 7^th graders

As of July 1, 2014, all children entering 7^th grade are required to meet certain immunization requirements.  As a courtesy, I am sending the flyer provided by the Department of Human Resources/Division of Public Health regarding these requirements (click here for flyer) for your review, as your child may or may not have been required to have these shots when they first entered grade school.

Students who do not have the required shots upon entering 7^th grade WILL be withdrawn for lack of appropriate immunizations.  Hopefully by providing this information to you in a timely manner, you can avoid any such complication.

Please contact your health care provider for any questions you may have about these vaccinations, or to determine whether or not your child will be required to have additional shots.
