Coach Jason Stevens

This is my 9th year at Union Grove Middle and 2nd year teaching 7th grade Social Studies.  Prior to this year, I did 1 year of 6th grade Social Studies, 5 years of Georgia Studies and 1 year of ISS.  I love Georgia history and was the captain of my 8th grade Georgia History Bowl team at Taylor County Middle School, where we placed in the top 8 in the state.  I am a graduate of Georgia College in Milledgeville with a BS in History.  Here at Union Grove Middle, I also serve as the head football coach and the head girls lacrosse coach at Union Grove High School.

I am married with two kids that are in college.  My wife works in Atlanta, while we have a daughter that will be a junior at Shorter University on a softball scholarship. My son will be attending West Georgia in the fall and working with the football team running their video equipment.  The last member of our family is our dog, Luna.
