What is English Language Arts (ELA)?
Quite simply, ELA provides the literacy skills students need to be successful communicators in a rapidly changing world. These skills include reading, writing, speaking, viewing, and listening. Students develop these skills by analyzing and responding to narrative, informational, and argumentative texts.
