Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 school year! I am excited to start this adventure with you. While this is just my fifth year at Union Grove High, I have been teaching since 2000.  I've taught middle school World Geography/Cultures and high school World History and American History throughout my career. I look forward to walking with my students through history to not only grasp a better knowledge of the past, but to also gain a better understanding of life. • Born and raised in Pennsylvania, moved to Georgia in 2004

• Received my teaching degree from Penn State University

• Married my husband in 1999

• I have two daughters, one in college and one in grad school

• I have two dogs, Koa and Finn, and I have one grand-pup, Theo

• I am the head coach of the Girls Varsity Lacrosse team at Ola High School

• What I do for fun...CrossFit and spend time with friends and family
