    Welcome to THE GROVE,
Hello! I am Ms. Williams and this is my 21st year teaching in Henry County Schools, and my fifth year at UGHS. I have taught many students on the Autism Spectrum for the last 23 years. I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware... THE FIRST STATE! Where's that? Well, I'm so glad you asked. My home state is located between Philadelphia and Baltimore. I graduated from Wilmington University in 20000 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Special Education in 2002. About six years later, I decided to go back to school (again). In 2009, I graduated from Nova Southeastern University, with a Specialist degree with a concentration in brain-based learning (BrainSMART).
I am excited about the 2024-2025 school year here at UGHS. Parents, please be mindful - high school is a challenging chapter for all students; we must all be intentional in providing positive learning experiences and supporting these students with care. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns. I look forward to a successful year together!

    Sincerely,
    Ms. Tammy Williams
