Hello! My name is Sari Flug, and I am the newest Autism educator to join the wonderful Rocky Creek staff. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have lived in Fayetteville for over 15 years. I have 3 Children: a 21- year- old daughter at Auburn, an 18-year- old daughter starting at the University of North Georgia this year, and a 15-year-old son at Whitewater High. I have been teaching for over 25 years in the areas of Spanish, English, and Special Education to students ranging in age from 10 months to 21 years old, all academic levels. I have a Masters in Foreign Language Education from UGA and a Special Education Certificate from Georgia State. Teaching is both my profession and my passion.

I am so excited to embark on this journey toward excellence with your children. My goal is to make learning personally meaningful for every student.  Throughout our journey this year, we will explore ELA, Math, Science, Social studies, Life skills, and even some pre-vocational skills. For this reason, I may ask for donations of supplies for classroom activities from time to time. This may include toothpaste, microwaveable cooking meals, sandwich making supplies, a few changes of clothes, and any toileting items they may need. I also love to do hands on activities!!  I always appreciate any support from my AMAZING parents! I look forward to working with you, your children, and their other teachers to make this a wonderful and successful year of learning! As a team, we can make this year truly fantastic!
