Hello! My name is Mrs. Janeice Farquharson-Blythe. I was born in the beautiful island, Jamaica. I migrated to America, June 2002, and have been living in New York since that time.
In 2008, I graduated from LaGuardia Community College with an Associate Degree in Childhood Education, with a concentration area in English Language Arts. I continued my education, and, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Education from City University of New York (CUNY) York College in May 2011. In May 2015, I graduated from Adelphi University with a dual Master’s Degree in Childhood Education and Special Education.
Since 2018, I have been teaching in a self-contained classroom in the state of New York. I started teaching at Rocky Creek Elementary School in February 2023. I was the EBD unit teacher. This school year, I will be teaching in the Autism Unit, and I am super excited.
This year, my husband and I will celebrate 20 years as husband and wife. I am a mother of two children. I have one daughter and one son.
