I am Bree Dettmering, MCD, CCC-SLP, your 2024-2025 speech therapist! I am a Georgia state licensed, and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia and went on to obtain my Master's of Arts in Teaching for Special Education at Kennesaw State University. With my continued passion for helping children communicate, I went on to earn a Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Carolina. I have been working with the pediatric population for 6 years with experience in a variety of settings ranging from the school system to the pediatric outpatient rehabilitation setting. I am trained in PROMPTs for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), Sequential-Oral-Sensory Feeding Approach (SOS Feeding Approach), and have experience treating a variety of speech and language delays and disorders. I am dedicated to making therapy sessions engaging and challenging, and always fun! I can't wait to see what this year has to offer!
When I am not at work, you can find me at home, or out and about with my husband, Ryan and daughter, Landry. We have one precious pup, Rosie and two kittens, Huey and Huk. I love shopping, working out and hanging out with friends and family.
