Hello! My name is Ms. Self, and I am starting my 18th year as a teacher. I have spent the majority of my career teaching early childhood, but the last eight years I have taught 4th and 5th. I began my teaching career in Clayton County, Georgia, moved to Columbia, South Carolina and taught some years there, and now I am back in Georgia teaching in Henry County!

Education

In May 2003, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Western Carolina University. In December 2006, I graduated with a Masters in Science in Post-Secondary Education. I have also received a Science endorsement from Griffin R.E.S.A. I have completed the course for my ESOL endorsement through University of South Carolina: Aiken.

I am excited about this year as a Rocky Creek Racer!
