Fun ways to keep learning over summer...

1) Go on an alphabet hunt. Find each letter of the alphabet on signs or other images as you are riding in the car. 

2) Play rhyming games. Ask your child to give you a word that rhymes with a certain word or ask if two words rhyme. 

3) Practice writing simple CVC words. Ex: bat, cat, sit, log, etc. 

4) Have your child tell you the beginning sound of a word. 

5) Read, read, read! Read to your child and have them practice reading simple words to you.
