EOPA
  • After all Early Childhood Education (ECE) students have passed  ECE I, ECE II, and ECE III classes, students will take and pass the End-of-the-Pathway Assessment (EOPA) created by NOTCI Early Childhood Care and Education.  Based on Henry County District cut-off score, McDonough High School Early Childhood Education Program has maintained a 100% passing rate in the last 4 consecutive school years under the instruction of Ms. Jessica Corbin, Ed.S. In addition, over 75% of these pathway completers scored higher than the district cut-off score and received a college recommendation to exempt a 3-credit hour specific college course along with completing the ECE pathway portfolio. Currently, this EOPA is given each semester to ECE III students. Information about the ECE EOPA created by NOTCI is embedded below.
