Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, data-driven framework proven to reduce disciplinary incidents, increase a school's sense of safety and support improved academic outcomes. McDonough High School has continuous teaching with student and teacher acknowledgment and feedback of positive student behavior that reduces unnecessary discipline and promotes a positive climate for all students.
