• Mr. Alex Adams

    Hello, my name is Alex Adams and this is my 5th year teaching and my first year here at McDonough High.  My courses this year include; World Geography Honors World Geography, Personal Financial Literacy and Economics.  Though I have only been teaching for the past 5 years, (my 1st yr I taught 5th grade), I have been working with students from elementary to graduate school for the past 24 years, coordinating various enrichment programs at the Morehouse School of Medicine, Howard University College of Pharmacy and the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. For the past 4 years, I taught at Griffin High School in Spalding County.  I am originally from Jackson, Tennessee and I have a BS in Health Education from Tennessee State University and an MS in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.  Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at: alexander.adams@henry.k12.ga.us

    About me: I relocated from Memphis, Tennessee to the metro area in 1994 as a single parent.  I have 3 grown children who attended Henry County Schools.  I served in the US Navy for 4 years, I have been married for 26 years and I have one grandson.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing tennis and I'm an excellent cook.
