SRO William Cook

I was born in Fulton County and grew up in Conley, Ga. My family moved to Henry County in 1990, when I was in 5th grade. I graduated from Stockbridge High school in 1998. After getting married to my beautiful wife Jennifer Cook in 2003, we returned to Henry County in 2004. We started raising our family here and have been here ever since. We now have 3 awesome sons, one 10 yrs. old, a 15 yr. and 16 yrs. old. I began my career in law enforcement here in Henry County in 2008. I wanted to do something where I could help make my community better and safer for my family and others. I was raised to always help others who needed it and to always give service to others when and where I could. I have been working as a School Resource Officer (SRO) since 2014.
I have always enjoyed working with kids and seeing our youth/child work towards their dreams. I've always said that it's one thing as a Law Enforcement officer to help a person and change their mind about police officers. However, when you can help or change the mind of one of our children, you will affect not only that person but possibly generations to come. The youth today are truly the future for not only me and my family, but for the whole community.
