Mrs. Heckman

This is my 6th year in education and my second year teaching 4th/5th Math and Science.

I am excited to be your child’s teacher for the 24-25 school year and for all the exciting things we will be doing! Your child is going to learn and grow this year, and know that making mistakes is a part of the journey and to never give up! 

I am married to Dave (Semper Fi!) and we have three children. Chris is a freshman in college, Hannah is a sophomore in high school, and Malcolm is in 4th grade here at Rocky Creek!  I love to cheer for my kids at their sporting events, and you will probably see me (and definitely hear me!) at HHS volleyball games, and more! I love to spend time with my family, traveling, reading, gardening, and playing with our two dogs, Penny and Ivy!

A few of my favorite things: eating at Chick-fil-a or Taco Bell, shopping at Hobby Lobby and Amazon, snacking on Honeybuns and Dot’s pretzels!
