Ms. Marvella Nesbitt

Hello Parents and Students,

Welcome. I am excited to meet you and to have you in my class. Since we are going to be spending a lot of time together, we should be intentional in showing kindness, compassion, and respect. In short, we must be a classroom family.  I firmly believe in community and fairness.

Our ELA class is standards-based and will focus on reading, writing, listening, speaking, and research. Google Classroom is our digital platform, and there you will find your assignments, Google Meet link, and other educational supports to meet your needs.

Well, I cannot wait to learn more about you, and I will give you a little about me. I was born in Florida, and I spent my career there teaching in Boca Raton.  I moved to Henry County in 2007, and I am grateful to be here.  My favorite things to do are: spend time with my family, friends, and shop. Also, I collect African tribal art, and I absolutely love candles.

I am looking forward to working with you this school year, so let's make it a great one!
