**Welcome Back, Students!**

Hello and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I am Mrs. James, and I am thrilled to have each of you in my math class this year. 

As we embark on this exciting journey together, I want to share how enthusiastic I am about the year ahead. With 18 years of teaching experience, including 10 years here in Henry County and 3 at UGMS, I've had the pleasure of teaching a range of subjects - from GA Studies to 7th and 8th grade math, and Algebra 1. Each year is a new adventure, and I am eager to make this one memorable for all of us.

Our approach this year will be to face challenges together, support each other, and strive for success. We will work hard, but we’ll also celebrate our achievements and growth. To make the most of our time together, it's essential that we all do our part - contributing positively, staying engaged, and making the effort to create lasting, positive memories.

You’ll find tools you need for success through Google Classroom, where I will regularly upload daily agendas, announcements, videos, practice work, and assignments. You will also maintain a required math notebook this year.  This platform will help keep us organized and connected throughout the year.
