About Me:
I enjoy reading and writing in my spare time. A few genres that I engage in are suspense, drama and mysteries. My ultimate goal is to have students fall in love with the art of reading and writing AND on a mastery level. I plan to execute this in a way that appeals to them and in accordance to the aligned curriculum. I have a loving husband and three wonderful children that also attend schools in the Henry County district.
Educational Philosophy:
I believe that there are three essential elements that are conducive to learning. (1) The teacher's role is to act as a guide/leader. (2) Students must have access to hands-on activities. (3) Technology must be incorporated into the school day."
