    Ms. Brandi A. Neal is a distinguished musician and dedicated music educator known for her exceptional talent and commitment to her students. Her musical journey began at nine, singing in church and taking piano lessons. As a Henry County Schools alumna, she actively participated in plays, musicals, and concerts, laying a solid foundation for her future in music.

    At Bethune-Cookman University, Ms. Neal excelled as the Alto Section leader of the Bethune-Cookman Concert Chorale. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance.

    Ms. Neal began her teaching career in 2017 after working as a College Admissions Counselor. Her ensembles consistently earn Superior and Excellent Ratings at Large Group Performance Evaluations. Ms. Neal began teaching at McDonough High School in August 2022. She currently teaches piano and chorus to 9th-12th grade students. In June 2023, under her direction, the MHS Warhawk Singers achieved Straight Superior Ratings at the OrlandoFest Choir Competition. Her students have received over $300,000 in music scholarships, and the MHS Warhawk Singers have performed at Carnegie Hall twice. They have won several choral competitions, including the 2024 GHSA Literary Regional Championship for Quartet, and was a finalist for the Governor's Honor Program. In April 2024, Brandi and the MHS Warhawk Singers earned Straight Golds at the Southern Star Music Festival.

    Ms. Neal holds various leadership roles, including MHS Fine Arts Department Chair, member of the HCS Fine Arts Support Team, Student Support Team Co-Chair, MHS Literary Coach, and MHS Swim Coach. Ms. Neal was recently accepted into the Henry County School A.S.P.I.R.E Leadership Program. Ms. Neal will also be presenting at the 2024 Henry County Schools Educators Launch Pre-Planning Professional Development. She is the Chartering President of the South Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity and has served on the Clayton County Public School Board Advisory Committee for District 1 and as a Curriculum Writer.

    Ms. Neal continues to foster community relationships by collaborating with the local community theatre, “The Henry Players”. Ms. Neal has also performed in and music-directed four productions with the Henry Players, including "RENT," "Dreamgirls," "Little Shop of Horrors, "Fences", and recently "A Chorus Line". She is a proud mother to her four-year-old son, Jalen, who shares her love for music. Ms. Neal's dedication to music education continues to inspire and shape young musicians' futures.
