Welcome to the 2020-2021 

School Year

Dear Parents,

My name is Meribeth Morris and I am excited for this school year!  At DES, I serve students in EIP Reading and Math in grades Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I was born and raised in South Dakota, where I started my education in a two room country school!!  My husband and I made Georgia our home in 1991. This is my 28th year of teaching and I have been at DES since we opened in 2005. 

During this time of remote learning, my goal is to help my students grow academically.  We will have scheduled EIP classes Monday -Thursday at a set time which will be shared very soon.  This scheduled time will help create a routine for the students that will continue once we return to the school building. It is essential for the students that they attend during their assigned time. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
