    Parent Volunteer Center

    Dutchtown Elementary School Community,

           We need your help! The Guidance Department at DES is pleased to announce the grand opening of the DES Parent and Community Volunteer Center!  The Parent and Community Volunteer Center has been designed to help teachers with the ongoing demands that providing a quality education for our students requires.  Helping teachers with tasks that can be done outside of the classroom affords them more time to devote to our students in the classroom.  Services that are be offered by the center include:

    • 1.    copying
    • 2.    collating
    • 3.    letter cutting
    • 4.    cutting out lamination
    • 5.    assembling packets for distribution
    • 6.    assisting teachers with lesson preparation

        In order to facilitate the center in an orderly fashion, we need your help!  Parents and community volunteers are needed to complete this very important work.
